Hello church Family,

The end of summer is here - and we have packed so much into Summer 2010... and now, our construction begins Sept 7th!   Please be gracious with one another as we find our way around the construction activities... note, we will need to use the NORTH ROAD entrance for entrance AND exit from the east parking lot... and the parking lot in front of the Children's wing will temporarily be IN AND OUT.   Follow direction signs to enter ....  we will still be "normal" this Sunday, but Sept 12 we will have to pay attention!  Isn't this exciting?

This is LABOR DAY weekend, so we will have only ONE worship servcie, at 10:00, with nursery and preschool SS concurrent with worship. Again, note that the nursery has been moved to the former office area.   The theme is "FAITH IN THE WORKPLACE" and we will be singing our favorite hymns and we will listen to Jim's favorites with his touch on the keyboard!  Bring your friends!  Our communion offering will go to purchase 9-volt batteries for PIN to give out for smoke detectors.   Bring bateries or money for PIN to use to purchase.

 

CALLING ALL MUSICIANS… Rehearsals for both our hand bell and vocal choirs begin this Wednesday evening (9-8) and we want YOU to participate! The JuBELLant Praise Ringers begin at 6:30 p.m. and Sanctuary Choir starts at 7:30. You do NOT need previous experience to be involved.  Bring your wits, a servant’s attitude,  your gifts and talents.  We will make great use of them!  Sanctuary Choir will be singing for both services Sept. 12 – so PLEASE come to our first rehearsal and be ready to start learning our wonderful new music!
